Last Scout Night At The Proms

On Friday the 16th of March musicians, vocalists and an enthusiastic audience, packed into Christ Church Parish Centre to join in a much appreciated Night at the Proms. The Hall “looked a picture”, decked in red, white and blue, the perfect setting for a good, old patriotic sing along---and the audience did just that. In fine voice, and waving their Union Jacks, a good night was had by all.

Not only were we able to stage the event but we were successful in raising the magnificent sum of £932.36. This means that presentation cheques of £466 will be made to The Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Foundation Trust at the Newcastle Freeman Hospital and The Newcastle Motor Neurone Disease Care Centre at the R.V.I in Newcastle.

Thanks to Maureen Chater for the Photos
