Peter is currently a Nominated member of the Executive Committee in Tynemouth Scouts as well as District Centres Manager. Peter started Scouting in 1992 as a Scouts Section Leader before being appointed as Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs in 1999. Peter then took on the task of leading Tynemouth Scouts as District Commissioner for 6 years. Peter then became a member of HQ Staff in 2008. Peter has held various roles around Tynemouth and Northumberland Scouts including; District Nights Away Advisor, District and County Training Advisor and various Group Chairs. Peter has also been District Chairman and oversees the Executive Committee and supports the District Commissioner with his wealth of knowledge.

Peter is also currently Deputy County Commissioner for Northumberland Scouts.
